At 39 I realized I had gained a new status in life; the quintessential frumpy domestic goddess. Needless to say I was mortified and ready to make a commitment to my health. So, like every other frumpy domestic goddess, I expanded my exercise DVD collection and bought a pair of running shoes determined to change my new status in the world. However, there were two problems with my new commitment; my exercise DVD collection kept expanding and I wasn’t achieving the results I wanted. I even purchased P90X and had some success, but wasn’t exactly happy with the results.

Naturally I took the next step. I retired my exercise DVD collection which included the P90X series and joined the gym. At the gym I met trainer Jeremy Gritton.  Like most adults who are trying to get into shape, I was bit nervous, but Jeremy was easy to talk to about my goals. He designed a dynamic exercise program to fit my body’s needs and explained how to perform each exercise correctly for maximum results. Within three weeks of training, I noticed a strong core develop and a toned body with defined shoulders, biceps, triceps, and legs. My energy level increased as well as my overall strength. With such great results and a wonderful trainer I was motivated to continue with my goals. By five weeks I was in the best shape of my l life and had achieved my weight goal of 110 lbs!


I am now training with Jeremy for my first sprint triathlon and I feel confident about my ability to succeed.

WEIGHT LOSS! LEAN MUSCLE MASS! MOTIVATION! INCREASE IN MENTAL HEALTH!  If these words catch your eye, than Grittons Training System is the fitness model for you.  My name is Brett Lathem; I am a 28 year old, ex baseball player who had always stayed in great shape.  Standing at 6’3” my playing weight was around 210 pounds.  This was an ideal weight for having lean muscle mass with my frame.  Over the past four years, I have drastically increased in size (weight).  I have been lugging around 244lbs.  Two months ago, I was busting it on the treadmill, carrying out a workout that I thought was effective and would produce the results I desired.  Striving to get back into my playing weight (I like to call it); I fell short of my goals.  Goals, there were no goals; this was the number one reason for my continuous failure.  Desperate to change my life, I joined the Gritton’s Training System (Boot Camp) not really knowing what to expect.  I knew anything could be better than the results I was getting. Day 1 was a gut check.  About half way through the session, I was thinking what did I get myself in to.  Making it through that session was clearly possible with Jeremy’s ability to motivate and push us to our limits.  Jeremy gained my attention and respect from the first session. He educated us on the importance of setting goals and strategic methods of achieving them.  Let me tell you, after that first day, I was tired, sore, but HOOKED! After two weeks, the pounds started to drop, my flab started to resemble actual muscle, and my mentality started to change.  I would wake up at 5:00 am with anticipation to sweat and loose some pounds.  My overall persona became upbeat and full of energy (like being on a sugar high without the sugar).  When I started the first Boot Camp, I was weighing in at 244lbs and 23.3% body fat. I am currently in my second Boot Camp weighing in at 224lbs and 18.6% body fat. In two short months time I have lost 19lbs (8% weight loss) and 4.7-body fat (20.2% body fat reduction).  I am thrilled with the results that Jeremy has been able to get out of me.  Jeremy’s methods are challenging, but fun. He critiques our form on each exercise maximizing each rep of each set. His fitness ideologies are effective and life changing.  If you are out of shape looking for a boost, or in shape looking to take your fitness to a completely new level, I strongly encourage you to join the Gritton’s Training System, and enjoy your results.

I am a member of Team Gritton Team (Thursday at 6:00 p.m.). The program has been an experience I will never forget. Of course, our team has had the BEST Trainer that anyone could ask for! I have learned so much about nutrition along with different exercise techniques that I wouldn't have gotten just going to the gym on my own. Jeremy has been an inspiration to me! He is so upbeat with his winning smile and personality that he makes you want to work hard and achieve your personal goals. He makes the classes interesting and fun and is always ready and willing to answer any questions you have. He truly wants to help each and every person and it shows through in everything he does! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking to lose weight while learning about proper nutrition and exercise techniques! You just can't go wrong doing this program. It's wonderful!!!

In a recent talk I gave on surviving tough times, the best metaphor I could think of for God was our ILIATC trainer, Jeremy Gritton.  Jeremy: kind,
dependable, generous with his warm smile and encouraging words – and ever-ready to take you on an intense, if somewhat painful, journey of self-discovery! The class was a wonderful jumpstart to my renewed commitment to health, and learning the correct form for lifting was especially valuable.  The element of team competition encouraged personal commitment and the resulting camaraderie was great fun.  All my teammates loved working with Jeremy and I highly recommend him as a trainer – even if he isn’t truly divine …
